When a Tree Exfoliates

Just wondering, what if we exfoliate like the tree? Big chunks of skin coming off that really refreshes our flesh. Just peeling of a single layer like snakes. Truly rejuvenating and it would probably slow down the businesses of skin care doctors. Just thinking.

To Get Me To You

And I don't regret the rain, or the nights I felt the pain, or the tears I had to cry some of those times along the way. Every road I had to take, every time my heart would break; it was just something that I had to get through, to get me to you.

Overflow

The Overflow

That frail vessel
communicated with the universe
brims and overflows within him
billows from overabundance.
That mirror
which once ran
through wide courtyards
lies smashed by the road
its every splinter
reflects ruffled maple buds
vastness of the sky.
A bird's wing shimmers
in all those thousand pieces.
What once was connected
is connected no more
what once was frail yet whole
has become fragmented.

Create Your Own Website

For a long time now, I have always wanted to have my own website. My former co-worker enticed me to do so because he created one for himself. I found a friend who knows how to design a website but both of us have no idea where we will host my site and which one of the many website hosting sites would be the most appropriate for me. Now, I found a site that will provide me with the best information about those website hosting sites. green web hosting will show you the user reviews and rating of those sites. With the abundance of web hosting sites, one must find out what he need from his hosts. There are options that you want particularly from your host and to get the most value from their service, we must choose them well to avoid paying for unnecessary options that we don’t want.

A research on the ratings on anything that I want to purchase is especially important to me because I want to be cautious with what I buy especially when you’re in a tight budget. Being an amateur photographer and blogger, I read articles and browse the web for information on what type of camera I should buy or service I would use to be on the safe side. Nowadays, every penny spent must well spent so before you find a web hosting site, check it out first.

Flower in Black & White

I love photographing in black and white because we will not be focused on the color of the flower but in its wonderful detail.

The Baby Wonders

Maybe the baby wonders what he is doing in such a place.

Somewhere Out There

There are so many questions running in my mind right now. There are some questions that I can answer in due time on my own while the others will be known only when they are answered. For too long a time have I speculated the answers of others. Now, guessing is not an option to consider. I have to wait and hope.

Maybe somewhere out there, someone is formulating the answer to my question because all other possibilities rides on the answer of that one question.

Definitely, someone out here, is waiting for you.

Summer Prelude

Over a landscape
lethargic and warm
needles of lightning
are knitting a storm,
impatiently using up
skein after skein
of cloud, that will shortly
unravel in rain.

Enclosure

What do you think is the purpose of being enclosed in such a place,
to keep people out
or
to keep people in?

Catcher of the Day

I've always liked photographing fishermen from a distance. The vastness of the ocean brings contrast to the tiny speck a fisherman is in that environment.

For me, there is also a feeling of tranquility and courage as I see the fisherman paddling alone in the ocean. A journey that he takes alone for the welfare of his family.

Backflip

I've always wanted to do flips like in the Chinese martial arts movies that I saw as a child. Sadly, my body not that flexible. I almost broke my neck trying to do a simple front flip as a child. After all these years, I'm still amazed at people who do this type of things especially the Brazilian capoeira practitioners.

The Flower Within

Enlarge the picture and see the those pine tree-looking miniature flowers inside the flower. They look wonderful with sort of feathery texture in them. With macro photography, I discover new things that are rarely visible with my own eyes.

Mileage

Our motorcycle has a lot of mileage in it. The plate number is a clear sign that it's been driven in rough, muddy and dusty roads.

Creepy-Crawly

This creepy-crawly was a visitor in our house a few days ago. It attached itself to the screen on our door. It just stayed still there for a long time before it went away. We first mistaken it as a cockroach, but upon closer inspection, we think it's of another insect species. It made my tingling sensation on my skin.

Cradle of Life

As life begins, it is nurtured, protected and nourished until it is ready to go enter the world. Just like our mothers who were there during the beginning of life.

How far could you be bent?

Once bent, will you ever be straight again?

Discarded

Sad sight for a star that's be put aside once the season was over. Neglected, taken for granted after it was used as the symbol of our guiding light.

A Little Drop of Rain

Drops of rain accumulating in a poinsettia leaves in our backyard. The leaf looks like a heart too. makes me think of valentine's day.

Looks marvelous.

As a child, I used to place water on some of the indigenous plant leaves in our backyard and move it around to see the movement of the water because usually they stay intact even if you move them. Even when they're apart, they will find a way to get back together as if they are connected. Maybe, true love is like that.

Streaks of Light

Fascinating streak of light does the fireworks make. The go in every direction they want. But in this chaos, they create a beautiful masterpiece that can be fully appreciated from afar. It even looks like some sort of eclectic painting on a canvass.
