To All Photographers

Yours is a wonderful profession. Have you ever stopped to think that it is quite similar to the responsibility of a surgeon, who with his scalpel always has a life in his hands? You have a life in your hands every time you use your camera.

A photograph can be very kind because the image never grown old. People change, but a photograph always remains the same; you see people as you remember them.

Soul of a Flower

An Aura is a field of subtle, luminous radiation supposedly surrounding a person or object.

I haven't seen an aura before but if a flower should have one, then it might look like this. The radiation gives a spiritual dimension on it. It looks like the soul of a flower.

About to Bloom

I like the contrasts in the flower, the violet & pink colors and the smooth texture of the flower compared to the hairy feel of the pink cocooning it.

Inviting Tips

I don't know the actual name of the purple-colored tips but they are teasing.

Playful tips.

They could look like luscious fingertips that are inviting you with the gestures of the fingertips. An invitation that could hold you in awe and went along with it without even thinking. In movies, they could represent the seductress.

Itsy-Bitsy Pillows

These petals that are on the verge of blooming, for me, looks like pillows or maybe ribbons. It's really wonderful to see those magnificent flowers from up close. We can discover a world of wonder even at such a tiny place.

Puff of Death

Most of us know that smoking leads to death. But do many people still do it? Is the small delight that they receive from smoking worth the price of illness or even death?

The Slow Death of a Plant

I pity the plant.

It is being infested by pests & ants, and is experiencing slow death. And it is the circle of life.

This sight creeps me out especially the white organisms clinging to the plant. It makes me quiver. Not a fan of hairy inspects.

Whosoever Destroys a Soul

Therefore was a single man only first created, to teach thee that whosoever destroys a single soul from the children of man, Scripture charges him as though he has destroyed the whole world.

The Talmud

A Rose, It is not.

I don't have any clue to the name of the flower but a rose, it is not. It is a young flower that is about to bloom but it does resemble a rose.

What Does the Future Hold?

Look into his eyes and ponder upon the future. The time yet to come. What does it offer him?

With the advancements made in the modern world, people oftentimes forget the basic. The child clinging to an armchair from his school, reminds me that we must first teach the basics correctly before anything else. Proper education, not just mere education is what the child needs in order for him to have a possibility of a brighter future. Positive reinforcements from home and at school is essential from him to hope, to strive for something greater and not just accept his present situation.

Walking with a Friend

We all need a friend. A true friend is someone who would make the leisurely walk into a meaningful conversation even without a spoken word. You both understand each other even with contradicting opinions.

I have true friends. Find out yours.

My Sister's Keeper

This sight is typical in rural areas where the older children take care of their siblings to help their parents. I don't usually see this type of responsibility undertaken by children in urban areas. The sense of family is more evident in far-flung areas where a family must take care of their own to survive. Where each family member has a responsibility to do even the younger ones.

For me, the picture visualizes the phase, "She ain't heavy, she's my sister." With them clinging to each other, they show love and care that are essential in a person's growth.

Pink Overwhelming

I have no idea of what type of flower or weed this is but I love the effect it shows. It looks like a pink firework display or a sea urchin.

Uphold 9408 - Share the Wealth

Leave Half A Sentence Unsaid

When you have the urge to say something blunt,
leave half a sentence unsaid;
although all rights and reasons are on your side;
allow your opponent three parts out of ten.

The Gathering

The children are enjoying the new school supplies they have received and they're ecstatic. They share their good fortune with their friends. Simple delights that bring great joy. In our supposedly busy lives, we tend to forget how to enjoy little things. Bless the children.
