Feel the Rush

Are you afraid of heights?

If yes, try riding the zip lines at Camp Sabros, Barangay Kapatagan, Digos City and conquer your fears. It offers 380 & 400 meter zip lines and very soon the 800 meter will already be available to the public. Camp Sabros has been featured in TV Shows like Sports Unlimited, Trip na Trip and Kay Susan Tayo.

Feel the rush of the wind in your face by going down those long cable lines in just seconds which passes through trees, goes above treetops and almost hitting ground. Those are just sojme of the ways to exhilirate your ride. For some, you feel liek Superman but for acrophobics, it is one of those moments were mere seconds feels a lot longer than it should be.

The place offers great facilities and accomodating staff, especially the owner Mr. Edwin Sakdalan, who will take care of your needs and whims while providing you a safe venue to enjoy and spend time with your friends and family.

Swan Lake?

I mas enthralled when I saw this painting hanging in the restaurant of Casa Rosa. It shows a beautiful lady, maybe a goddess, playing with the swans surrounded by water lilies. I really like how this painting looks. I'm just assuming it was swan lake. I've no idea of how the ballet swan lake was performed. All I know is that it has swans in them...hehe.

They Are Beautiful

"I don't ask for the meaning of the song of a bird
or the rising of the sun on a misty morning.
There they are, and they are beautiful."

Banner : Sure Things Seldom Are

This is one of the banners that I have created based on some of the quotes and descriptions that I found to be true.

The quote speaks for itself, we have all experienced this in some points of our life.

Not All Suffering Is Rewarded

Not all suffering is rewarded; only what is cheerfully consented to. A man hanged on the gallows, suffering unwillingly, were better pleased that it had been another. There is no reward for that. Other sufferings the same. It is not the suffering that counts, it is the virtue. -- I say, to him who suffers not for love to suffer is suffering and is hard to bear. But one who suffers for love suffers not and his suffering is fruitful in God's sight..

From A Pile of Wood

The result ofthe ingenuity of a person who uses different types of wooden materials to make his own home. He even made his own veranda using wooden sticks. If a person could make a multifaceted creation like this out of a pile of wood, what hinders him from applying his ability to other endeavors.

All of us have creative ideas hidden inside. But sometimes, we don't let these ideas out for fear of ridicule and failure. Let's nurture the creative ideas in our heads. Start small and nurture it. maybe our small ideas could lead to bigger breakthroughs.

As Lovely As A Flower

There something about weeds that we don't look at them. We either stomp or remove them because they are sights for sore eyes in the park or even in our own lawns. But if we take some time to look at them from up close, they almost as nice as the flowers that we usually admire. Maybe this thing applies to people too. Some of the people that we don't usually notice are wonderful, if we care to talk to them. Expand your horizons and maybe you can find a flower disguised as a weed.

Lovers in the Patrk

Could they be whispering sweet nothings to each other? In a moment like this one, a couple could be alone in a crowd. As if they are just the only persons there. Just focusing on each other. Just you and me. making memories.

A (Green) Star is Born

Flowers have such interesting shapes. We often thought that stars could only be seen up there in the skies.

Maybe when you need a star to look on to and the sky is dark or cloudy, try to look down and maybe you'll see stars like this. Stars can be found in both heaven and earth.

Happy stargazing.

Exploration Phase

Maybe this how the ant looks like when its exploring some flower. People go rock climbing while ants do flower climbing. It would be interesting to know the sights to behold with an ant's point of view.

Candle Power

"There is not enough darkness in all the world
to put the light of one small candle."

In moments of discouragement, defeat or even despair, there are always certain things to cling on. Little things, usually: remember laughter, the face of a sleeping child, a tree in the wind - in fact, any reminder of something deeply felt or dearly loved.

No man is so poor as not to have many of these small candles. When they are lighted, darkness goes away - and a touch of wonder remains..

Pink Hidden in the Midst of Greens

In the course of our life, we experience some painful events. Sad experiences that continue to linger in our mind even when we don't want to think about them. Oftentimes, we let our past get the best of us. I makes us afraid to tackle something that is similar to our previous experiences because we don't want to face those sad memories again. It makes us hesitant. It makes us fearful. Afraid to try again for fear of failure. A failure that is not easy to bear even if time has passed.

Living like this would make us live our lives in haste. Just trying to live life a day at a time, just trying to get by. We tend to forget to notice something different, something unique, something that would make us happy because we are living life hurriedly. Too fast that we see things in a blur.

I have lived such a life.

I want to stop and take look at my surroundings.

Maybe out there somewhere, there is something for me.

Just like the pink flower in the midst of green leaves. Only when we take a closer look at life do we find what we are looking for. Take time to smell the flowers. You can't take back what you've missed.

Peacock

This is one of the art exhibits found in one of the offices of Eden Nature Park in Toril. I've been there a few times myself for both business and pleasure. Aside from this painting of the peacock, you can also see live peacocks roaming around the place. They are such wonderful creatures.
