Bummer - Working on Holidays
The government has just declared Aug 18, 22 & 25 as holidays. I was getting excited of the possibility of a long weekend, maybe to go out or enjoy an additional rest day. And then I realized, I am required to work on the 18th and the 22nd and probably the 25th. How disappointing. Ever since the government decided to move the dates of the regular holidays to the nearest Monday or Friday, I can’t enjoy holidays anymore because most of the time I am required to work on Mondays and especially Fridays. What a real bummer, isn't it? : (
