It’s a Holiday? Or Not.

Today is a holiday. It has been declared as “Indigenous People’s Day and Kadayawan sa Davao Festival” by National Government. But why am I in the office right now? Waiting for orders, that’s what I’m doing. A sad life it is when you are slave of your job that works on the orders a foreign company’s time schedule. Well, for now, all I can do is wait and wait. Wait for their orders that haven’t arrived yet and you know will arrive late. I know that is to be expected of my job. Somehow, I wish it would be a little different. Oh, how I miss the times when I can enjoy holidays and do what I want with it. Will that time come again?
