The star still looks good and it looks better in contrast to the place where it's been left. The picture caught my attention because it looks like the back of house =)
The star is a symbol of the birth of Christ, who came that we may have life and have it to the full. In this picture I find the star a quiet comfort to the presently bleak circumstance.
