MOVIE: The Genius of Photography

I have just viewed the documentary produced by BBC in 2006 titled "The Genius of Photography". It's a wonderful look at the evolution of photography and the people instrumental to it. The documentary is divided into 6 parts, namely: Fixing the Shadows, Documents for Artists, Right Time, Right Place, Paper Movies and Snap Judgements.

The thing that I loved most about this documentary is its intimate look at street photography, the way the master photographers capture the world around them and their own evolution.

I recommend this to all lovers of photography. Perhaps you might even find some inspiration in this film because I did.

I subscribe to Astro which screens Discovery Channel and Nat Geo programs..but not BBC. Hopefully, one day it'll be screened on Discovery or NatGeo.
