GAMES OF MY CHILDHOOD: Siatong

Siatong is a common game when in my childhood days. Children and even adults play this game all year round. We even played this game in the rain. It's rare nowadays to see this game except maybe in rural areas where video games are not common. It's a participation game were anybody can join with an number of participants. You only need an open ground and some broken stick and you're good to go.

Another part of the game which makes it more enjoyable is the teasing. Not in a bad way but as a form of distraction to your opponent to prevent them from scoring. Hits and misses are howled upon while distance is one of the goals. It's also a good exercise for children because it trains their reflexes and agility. And best of all it's fun for everybody even the losers.
