MOVIE: The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall (2011)

I didn't have the chance to see the Phantom of the Opera when it was held in Manila last year. So, this is my only consolation. I've always wanted to see stage performances of my favorite musicals as compared to its movie version.

The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall is its 25th anniversary presentation of the musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The lead Ramin Karimloo as the Pahntom and Sierra Boggess, as Christine, were both marvelous. The production by Cameron Mackintosh was superb. It was a delight to see the stage performance of this musical. I hope that someday I will see it live.
