Hallowed Grounds

I love photographing this chapel. It has been featured here before quite a number of times. I really like the sereneity of the place and I had the privilege of photographing this chapel all by my lonesome, with permission.

I hope to photograph this place again once I have a DSLR camera. My point & shoot camera could only do so much of what I want my shoots to be. I'm still learning photography and serene places are one of my favorite subjects.

Life for me has been a thing of ups and downs in approximately equal measure. i don't have something sensational to report every day about my progress. Often I wonder if fulfillment in life is necessarily tied to a change for the better.

My rabbi once asked me how things were going, and I answered, "Things are not going all right, but it wouldn't hurt if they went a little better." Raising his formidable eyebrows, he said, "And how do you know it wouldn't hurt?".

Rugged Terrain

It's wonderful going to beach that is yet to be flocked by the public. Its rugged surroundings might turn off many visitors, but for me, they are the most enthralling to visit. It's nice to be in a place unspoiled by development. Although development is good for a place, it somehow destroys the atmosphere of the place once they arrange the surroundings to suit their perception of what a beach should look like.

Now, it is a privilege to be in a place such as this because there are only a few of these areas left in the country.

Go out & explore these places and get in touch with what Mother Nature intends her creations to be.
